Administrative, clerical, and computer skill training ranging from basic clerical and computer skills to advanced administrative and technical skills. Also, career guidance and job search tools, such as, resume development, interview skills, job search coaching, etc.
Dr. Joseph A. Heissan Learning Center Computer-based tutorials and workplace simulations provide opportunities for self-paced learning to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. In addition to tutorials targeting business skills, the Heissan Center offers the self-paced Rosetta Stone Langauage tutorials in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (BR). Bricks, Bridges & Bootstraps Open-entry program with strong focus on job readiness and life skills, employability skills and adult basic skills, as well as basic computer skills, clerical skills, job search techniques, barrier resolution, and financial literacy. FINAL - Financial Independence Now And Later A program offering a comprehensive range of economic literacy skills and activities that include, but are not limited to, budget coaching, money management workshops, credit report reviews and debt resolution planning. The Corporate Closet Available to TBICO participants entering the workforce and who may need the opportunity to build a "working wardrobe" without having to strain an already over-burdened household budget.
